Abstract

The conveyor lubricating system has an enclosure (12) which forms a lubricant reservoir and contains a pneumatically activated pump fed via a valve trip mechanism. This enclosure can have a cover plate (26) with a pump (32), a manifold (38) with air and lubricant passages, an air pressure regulator and a quick air exhaust valve (34) attached to the underside. The valve trip mechanism is actuated by the machine being lubricated. In an alternative embodiment the reservoir is mounted above the pump etc. Flexible tubes can connect the pump and reservoir.
