Abstract

The aerosol container cap has a central pipe (7) which fits over the end of the valve (8). The discharge pipe connects with the taper nozzle (10) which has an opening (10) at the top. The cap sits on the flange (2) of the container (3) and has a locking flange (1). The cap has a push button (6) with serrations on one side and is split along the inside of the flange (5) so that the valve may be opened when the push button (6) is depressed. The container is for dispensing viscous or semi-viscous material, e.g. toothpaste or mustard.
