Abstract

A craneway (8) for a trolley (11) moving a shelving conveyor (10) transversely to the longitudinal direction of the elongate material to be stored is mounted at the top end of vertical pillars (3) of the shelves (1) of the shelving storage, which are arranged in series. Furthermore, supports (5) for the cassettes (7) receiving the elongate material are fixed on the pillars (3), and in addition the pillars (3) form guides for a crosspiece (12) of the shelf conveyor (10), which crosspiece is vertically mobile and bears one or more telescope tables (13) which can be moved in both directions transversely to the longitudinal direction of the elongate material.
