Abstract

The shelter has twin U-section rigid risers which slide into upstands on a base plate that is pegged into the ground, while the top of the riser is reinforced with slides with locking screw for horizontal bracing. The top of the riser also takes a capping piece which forms a starter for the roof elements and which can be inclined to give the roof a pitch. Light flexible corrugated sheets fit between the risers and are locked to them by conical pins which are forced through holes in spring leafs into matching holes in the sheets.
