Abstract

Each panel comprises a flat board i wood, ply or chipboard coated with a suitable decorative finish. Around the edges of each panel are fixed extruded aluminium sections having grooves along their length. These elements are used equally at tops or sides and are assembled together using separate aluminium extrusions which have tongues slotting into the panel edges. Large headed buttons screw into the extrusions at each edge to prevent relative movement. Where required, feet are provided for protecting the lower edges of panels. Up to four way elements are possible, together with accessories such as sinks and shelves.
