Abstract

The boring method is used for wells in ground with a weak clay or clay type layer and they are bored below this. In the weak layer, the diameter of bore is increased and the bore and the well itself are cemented. The cemented part is then bored to an even diameter throughout. The increased diameter is dug by pressure jets. The digging tool has a hollow body, connected to a rod (22) and a pressure source. Radial arms with pipes (34') are connected to the hollow body. A sliding sleeve (118) can block the pipe ends.
