Abstract
Method for concentrating sulphuric acid to a high level from pure or impur acid, is described in which the acid is heated by electromagnetic induction in the appts. in which the acid is distilled using a solid material which is not attacked by the acid as susceptor. The solid material need not be in lump form as in prior art, and need not be repeatedly handled or heated or excessive temps. which led to its disintegration. Improved contact between susceptor and acid is achieved, giving improved heating of the acid.
