Abstract

The samples are stuck onto a sheet of cardboard with the sample located underneath. The rails (4) are mounted on the frame, and support three pads (5, 6, 7) with the central pad adjustable along the rail. The end block (5) is held below the plate (9) by side bolts. The plate is actuated by a pneumatic cylinder (10). The cutters are mounted onto the end pad (7) and the samples are conveyed on an endless belt conveyor (19).
