Abstract

The printing punch is for use by hand or for inking by roller, containing one or more printing characters each in corporating magnetisable material. Each character has an embossed surface, and on the opposite side a denoting label. A holder has a positioning part and a permanently magnetised one. The positioning part (11) moves in relation to the magnetised part (7) between one position where the characters are held against the latter by magnetic force, and another where they are not held. Each character contains finely-divided magnetisable material in an elastomer matrix, and fits loosely against the positioning part.
