Abstract

In a device for the prepn. and reclamation of de-hairing wax, two closely sepd. troughs are provided. The troughs act respectively as working and melting members and are connected together via a conduit with a tap. The trough are housed in a rectangular assembly with an upper surface formed by a glass plate with openings for access to the contents of the troughts. A sloping end surface of the assembly forms a control panel for a heating system used to melt the wax and at least the melting trough contains a truncated cone heat exchange surface. The melting trough also contains a removal circumferentially aligned mesh filter. The design is compact, easy to operate, and avoids problems caused by heavy soiling in use.
