Abstract

The profile is U-shaped with a web and two parallel wings (4, 5). One wing (4) has an extension (6) at 90 deg. towards the outside of the profile. The back of the web carries a tongued strip (7) the end of which is parallel to the web. The wings (4, 5) each have two ribs parallel to each other and equidistant from the web. Double glazing (13) fits into the profile and is held in place by the spacing bracer (14), while the profile is fixed to frame (15) by nails (18) and by a thin layer of mastic (17).
