Abstract

An air deflector is fitted to the roof of a vehicle towing a caravan. It reduces air resistance ahead of the drawgear. By its shape, it delimits a volume which can be used for luggage or for a caravan spare wheel. The deflector has an upper profiled part, carrier on a base matching the vehicle roof. The profile ends in an approx. rectangular rear face and the sides are slightly curved and are held by transverse bars, in turn secured to the vehicle side rain gutters.
