Abstract

The device comprises a milling chamber (5) which is delimited by a grooved cylinder (1) which rotates about a shaft (11), a grooved semi-cylindrical shell (2), and a loading hopper (4). The shell (2) is connected to the cylinder (1) by means of a connecting rod (3) and is actuated by a cam disc (22) which is keyed onto a shaft (21). The shell (2) is thus forced to perform reciprocating motion, by this means constituting a mobile wall of the milling chamber (5). The remaining part consists of a sifting screen (6) which allows only the flour to pass through. By means of this structure, the device can produce flours of a particle size which can be varied as required.
