Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif pare-flamme pour filtre à air. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un corps 5 disposé en aval du filtre 3, entre ce lui-ci et une tubulure de raccordement vers le moteur, ce corps 5 comprenant, à l'intérieur, une pluralité de passages 13 sensiblement longitudinaux de petite section et de longueur suffisante pour provoquer une auto-extinction d'une flamme pénétrant éventuellement dans le corps, au bout d'un certain parcours à l'intérieur de ce dernier. Applicable aux moteurs à combustion interne.
