Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux transducteurs piézo-électriques réalisés en plaçant entre deux électrodes un film de matériau polymère préalablement polarisé. L'invention a pour objet un transducteur dans lequel le film de matériau polymère acquiert électriquement des propriétés piézo-électriques sous la seule action d'un champ électrique orienté selon la normale à ses faces principales et sans avoir subi un étirement préalable. L'invention s'applique notamment à la réalisation de transducteurs piézo-électriques et pyro-électriques dans les domaines de l'électro-acoustique, de l'acoustique sous-marine et de la détection thermique des rayonnements.
