Abstract

Embrayage électromagnétique à ruban. L'embrayage comporte un organe menant portant une bobine électromagnétique autour de laquelle est monté un ruban magnétique dont une extrémité est fixée à un organe mené de sorte que l'excitation de la bobine provoque l'application du ruban contre les pièces polaires 26, 28 de la bobine et, de ce fait, l'accouplement des organes menant et mené. Selon l'invention, les pieces polaires sont crénelées, les saillies 62 60 d'une pièce pénétrant dans les creux 64 66 de l'autre de façon à former un entrefer 76 qui comporte des segments, 78, 80 qui s'étendent obliquement par rapport à l'axe de rotation de l'embrayage, ce qui réduit ainsi l'usure du ruban. Application à l'embrayage d'un ventilateur de moteur automobile.
