Abstract

Ce volant pour véhicule se compose d'un moyeu de volant fait de métal léger coulé sous pression, ainsi que d'une roue de volant qui est reliée au moyeu de volant par des bras. L'âme de la roue du volant 2 est appliquée au niveau de ses bords d'about contre la surface d'extrémité de l'un des bras de volant 3, les bras de volant 3 et la roue du volant 2 sont assemblés au moyen d'un manchon d'accouplement 4 en métal léger coulé sous pression qui entoure les deux éléments. Cette disposition permet de réaliser un voltant d'automobile présentant une faible masse inerte.
