Abstract

L'invention est relative à un arbre à cames pour moteurs à combustion interne à injection comportant pour chaque cylindre une pompe et un gicleur. Selon l'invention, la came 5 de pompe déborde au moins par-dessus l'un des poussoirs 1 de soupape voisins et présente, au moins dans la zone en débordement, une silhouette qui se trouve à l'intérieur d'une enveloppante 8 formée, lors du mouvement de rotation de l'arbre à cames, par la ligne d'intersection S entre la surface frontale du poussoir 1 de soupape et la surface de limitation 7 de la came de pompe, perpendiculaire à l'arbre à cames. L'invention permet de réduire les écarts respectifs des poussoirs malgré l'élargissement des cames.
