Abstract

The lamp assembly for lighting the interior of a motor vehicle or caravan comprises a support for the lamp and the electrical connections. A diffusing cover allows the bulb to be readily changed. The light from a lamp mounted in spring contacts (33) passes through a diffuser (2). This is retained by fixing ribs (4, 5) at the ends. The rib (5) at one end has a protruding cam (6) and on the side opposite the other fixing rib is a spring clip (7) in the form of a cam (8). The lamp assembly (1) is mounted by its introduction into a hole (9) in a panel (10) and is retained by the two cams. A reflector (14) articulates in the fixing rib (5) and a timer switch (11) is contained in a chamber (13) at one end while the other end of the reflector clips into the rib (4).
