Abstract

The extension plate (2) which is mounted concealed in the furniture body can be displaced parallel to the furniture wall between its concealed and extended positions by means of a fitment support (4), is directly connected to the plate (2). The support can be moved from the extended position towards a lifting direction about an angle which corresponds substantially to the swivel angle alpha. The direct attachment between the extension plate and support (4) ensures that the support forms the swivel arm for the plate so that no additional guide rods are required. The support is pref. a simple rod. The long arm ensures that only a slight force is required to raise the plate out of its extended position into its position of use directly adjoining the tabletop.
