Abstract
Procédé pour déterminer des faibles teneurs de cellules microbiennes dans des échantillons de fluides et dans des solides désagrégés. Selon l'invention, on traite l'échantillon de façon à broyer tous les solides présents dans l'échantillon, on fait éclater les parois de toutes les cellules non microbiennes pour extraire la matière microbienne qui s'y trouve, on filtre l'échantillon pour en éliminer toute la matière extraite, on fait éclater les parois des cellules microbiennes pour libérer la matière réactive qui s'y trouve, on introduit un réactif provoquant une réaction de luminescence pour saturer la matière réactive microbienne extraite, de préférence tandis que le résidu se trouve sur la surface du filtre et on décèle et enregistre une indication de l'intensité de luminescence émise par la réaction entre l'agent réactif et la matière réactive microbienne.
