Abstract

The d.c. motor control or energising circuit comprises a d.c. motor, a bank of series connected batteries, which bank includes opposite ends, and a switching arrangement for electrically disconnecting and connecting the bank to the motor for energising of the motr at selective levels of potential. Successive energisations involve alternate connection of the motor from the opposite ends of the bank to at least one of the batteries. The leads to the intermediate terminals of the battery are connected through diodes (61, 91).
