Abstract

The end (5) of a quick-release female pressure connector (1) has vertical slits which allow it to spring outwards when pushed down over a male connector (12). Internal circumferential shoulders (4) in the former then locate in a recess (9) in the latter. The connection is sealed by an O-ring (14) held between the male (12) and female (1) connectors, and secured by a locking ring (15) clamped around the outside of the end (5) of the female connector (1).
