Abstract
L'invention concerne les convertisseurs d'énergie éolienne du type turbine à axe vertical. Elle a pour objet une turbine éolienne comportant : - un arbre tournant vertical 3 soutenu par un système de haubans 6 et de paliers 10, et reliant mécaniquement le rotor de la turbine à un récepteur d'énergie, telle une génératrice électrique; - un rotor ayant son axe de rotation vertical et muni d'ailes dont l'envergure est disposée verticalement, lesdites ailes étant constituées chacune de deux parties disposées parallèlement à son envergure; la partie avant de l'aile 17, par rapport au sens de rotation 14, étant entièrement rigide et en forme de profil aérodynamique symétrique, et la partie arrière de l'aile 18 étant au moins partiellement souple et élastique. Application à la transformation d'énergie éolienne en d'autres formes d'énergie utilisables dans les activités humaines.
