Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie de l'imprimerie. Le procédé faisant l'objet de l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les phases suivantes : a. une phase de transport dans une position scalariforme, de groupes 12 de cahiers 13 vers un poste d'empilage 15; b. une phase de détection de la présence ou de l'absence de cahiers 13 en amont du poste d'empilage 15, avec déclenchement d'un signal correspondant de commande des moyens 16 formant butée mobile d'empilage: c. une phase d'empilage proprement dit des cahiers 13 d'au moins un groupe 12 de cahiers; d. une phase de retrait desdits moyens formant butée: e. une phase de transport d'éloigenement de la pile formée 14; f. une phase facultative, mais de préférence prévue, de détection de la présence ou de l'absence de cahiers en aval du poste d'empilage, avec déclenchement d'un signal correspondant de commande des moyens formant butée d'empilage. L'invention permet d'automatiser et d'accroître le rendement des opérations d'empilage des cahiers.
