Abstract

The centre plate is hinged at the top end has a vertical portion which has an aerofoil section. The leading edge of the plate carries a horizontal hydrofoil section pivoted about the point which has a leading edge ahead of the centre plate. A quadrant in the centre plate enables the angle of the hydrofoil to be varied. The hydrofoil may also be fitted to the fixed sterm fin of wind surfer.
