Abstract

The double frame wooden profile for windows has one frame opening outwards and another frame opening inwards. The fixed frame (2) seats a frame (3) which opens inwards on hinges (4) by pulling a handle (5). This frame (3) in turn seats a second frame (6) which opens outwards on guides and slides. The frames are shaped to take supply weather stripping (8, 10) on the outside and further insulating joints (14) on the inside. Horizontal members provide further protection by overhanging members beneath them.
