ON UTILISE UN BROMURE, DE PREFERENCE DE L'ACIDE BROMHYDRIQUE COMME ELECTROLYTE ESSENTIEL DE LA CELLULE D'ELECTROLYSE POUR RESOUDRE LE PROBLEME DE LA SURTENSION ET DE LA CORROSION ASSOCIEES A L'UTILISATION D'ELECTROLYTES HABITUELS DANS DE TELS MILIEUX. CECI PERMET D'ELARGIR LE DOMAINE D'ELECTRODES DE SEMI-CONDUCTEUR QUE L'ON PEUT CHOISIR ET QUI PEUVENT ETRE UTILISES DANS UN TEL APPAREIL.
