Abstract

Used during roofing operations or similar, the bracket provides support for an elevated working platform, and comprises two inter-articulating triangular frames. The unit provides security at roof angles etc. the two frames being fixed to a post by a hinged mounting (2) and by two chains to coiled hook anchorages (7). The frames may be of 35 mm x 35mm square hollow sections (1) and may be right angled with the hinge connecting adjacent vertical members (8). Welded gussets may locate the anchorages (6). The horizontal frame members (9) are capable of subtending alternative plan angles. In addition the horizontal members (8) may have forked ends (3) for cotter-pinned guard rail posts, the rail (6) inc. a tow boards (5).
