Abstract

The car windscreen wiper has an arm support driven by a backward and forward movement. The arm supports two blades connected in parallel with each other and several centimetres apart. This gives greater efficiency in heavy rain. By using a coupler, used for a standard blade on a standard arm, standard type adaptors can be used. The coupling is two grips at the end of a standard arm and a pivot rod joining them and at the centre having the same dimensions as one for a standard blade rod. The grips are swan neck type.
