Abstract
The switchgear includes power circuit breakers between the power transmission lines (2 3). Load switches are used for connection of each power transformer (1 10) at least to one transmission line. When the power transformer is connected to two transmission lines two load switches (5 6) are used for connection to each line. In case of two transformers two load switches (6,11) are used each connecting a single transformer to one line via a power circuit breaker. In an alternative construction three load switches may be used the first inter-connecting the two transformers, while the other two are used for each transformer-line connection. When more than two transformers and transmission lines are used, load switches connect each transformer to a line while the transformer are connected to each other in series by appropriate load switches.
