Abstract

The drive for a hydraulic screw press comprises a power cylinder (6) connected with the press slide (2) by its movable member (11). The chamber (A) of the power cylinder communicates with a pneudraulic accumulator (7) provided with a device for its charging. A hydropneumatic cylinder (17) with a distributor (18) for communicating its under-piston hydraulic chamber (22) alternately with the source of pressure (10) and a low-pressure hydraulic line (9). Non-return valves (19a, 19b) communicates the piston pneumatic chamber (23) of the hydropneumatic cylinder (17) alternately with the pneumatic line (8) and the pneumatic chamber (7a) of the accumulator.
