Abstract

Hélice marine annulaire. Elle comprend des pales 2, toutes à bords parallèles et à section constante, et un déflecteur annulaire 4 fixé aux extrémités extérieures des pales. Le déflecteur présente typiquement une face intérieure tronconique et une face extérieure bombée pour avoir un profil aérodynamique, sauf que son bord menant présente un biseau concave sur l'une et/ou l'autre de ses faces intérieure et extérieure. Application à la propulsion de tous types de navires avec un rendement supérieur à celui obtenu à aide d'hélices hélicoidales classiques.
