Abstract

The lamphouse is for use with an enlarger head for photographic printing. A light source is provided from which light is directed to a fixed apertured plate. On one side of the plate remote from the source is a composite filter. One portion passes light in one of two mutually exclusive waveband and the other passes light in the other waveband. The filter can be moved w.r.t. the plate so that in one position, light passing the filter is in all of one of the wavebands. In the other position the light passing the filter is in all of the other wavebands. In intermediate positions, a mixture of light is passed in both wavebands. Mounted with the filter is a light attenuator for one of the waveband to bring it to the level required. The combination is more sensitive so that prints of equal visual density are obtained irrespective of the filter position.
