Abstract

Dans l'appareil et le procédé de soudage à des pressions supérieures à 7 bards, on a recours à une opération de soudage en gaz inerte comprenant une électrode fusible qui est électriquement négative par rapport à la pièce 10 à souder et dont le fil 20 constituant cette électrode a un diamètre qui n'est pas supérieur à 1,4 mm, la << pente >> (ou caractéristique V/A) de la source d'énergie 24 alimentant l'arc étant de 6-15V/100A. Applications : soudage des pipe-lines sous-marins.
