Abstract
On introduit à la sortie de l'appareil l'halogénure d'un élément dont l'affinité de formation des halogénures est inférieure à celle de l'élément qui a la plus faible affinité, en quantité équivalant la quantité totale d'halogène contenue dans les halogénures à recueillir à la sortie de l'appareil, on fait réagir l'halogénure et l'oxyde ou mélange d'oxydes solides formé en ce point avec formation d'un oxyde solide et d'un halogénure ou mélange d'halogénures gazeux, on recueille séparément l'oxyde solide et l'halogénure gazeux, on met en contact à contre-courant l'halogénure gazeux introduit à la sortie de l'appareil, avec le mélange d'oxydes solides introduit à la sortie de l'appareil avec formation par échange oxygène-halogène d'un halogénure gazeux individuel dans chacune des zones de l'appareil, et on évacue de chacune des zones l'halogénure gazeux formé en quantité équivalente à celle de l'oxyde correspondant introduit avec le mélange d'oxydes à l'entrée de l'appareil.
