Abstract

Ce composant est du type possédant une sphère remplaçant la tête de fémur et une tige pourvue de gradins pour l'ancrage sans ciment dans le canal medullaire du fémur. Selon l'invention, les faces des gradins 4 et 5, vues du côté médian respectivement du côté latéral ou externe, forment avec l'axe 6 de la tige 1 des angles qui diffèrent d'un angle droit et une partie au moins des gradins de chaque côté possède des inclinaisons contraires par rapport à cet axe. L'obliquité des gradins favorise la stabilisation de la tige à l'égard de mouvements de rotation autour de l'axe du fémur.
