Abstract

The slider(2) of a hydraulic valve is locked at each end of its working position by circumferential grooves(8) which engage rollers(5). The rollers(5) are mounted in diametrically opposite slots(3) in the boss of the end bearing housing(1). The rollers(5) are retained in the slots by a wire spring clip(6) which passes through a central hole in the rollers(9) and fits in a circumferential groove in the boss of the housing(1). The spring clip provides a degree of elasticity which enables the rollers (5) to be forced out of the groove (8) when passing from one extreme position to the other.
