Chaque longueur d'enveloppe est divisée en trois parties égales 10, 11, 12 par des lignes d'affaiblissement transversales, et des régions d'adhésif thermosensible 15 sont prévues sur une face dans les parties centrale 11 et antérieure, et sur l'autre face dans les parties centrale 11 et postérieure 12, de sorte qu'elles se trouvent en regard quand l'enveloppe est repliée en Z.
