Abstract

Rusks emerge from the oven(10) in rows and pass onto a table(102) to be arranged and counted before packing. The rows of rusks are divided centrally, one half passing downwards(104) onto a lower level. Their movement is controlled by toothed belts(105) on top, driven at twice the furnace belt speed. The rows come together again at the lower level(114) and pass onto a fluidised air bed(200) and under a rotating brush. Each row moves past guide blades and counting stops which arranges the rusks in groups for packing.
