Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection et de localisation de rayonnements. Ce dispositif comprend, dans une enceinte étanche, au moins une cathode portée à un premier potentiel par rapport à un potentiel de référence, une pluralite d'anodes filiformes isolées entre elles, et des moyens photosensibles; cette enceinte étanche est munie d'un hublot transparent situé en regard de la cathode et des anodes; ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un support isolant présentant deux faces; une partie d'une face, située en regard du hublot, est revêtue d'une couche d'un matériau conducteur formant un réseau de mailles constituant la cathode; les extrémités des anodes ont la forme d'une pointe et leurs axes coïncident avec les axes des mailles du réseau; ces pointes sont situées en retrait par rapport au réseau de mailles conductrices. Application à la détection de photons.
