Dans ce dispositif devant explorer par voie optique une surface, on a placé un coin dans la trajectoire suivie par le faisceau entre la source de lumière et le détecteur de lumière pour corriger de la sorte des variations d'intensité indésirables que l'on constate lors de l'exploration d'une surface homogène non structurée.
