Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques de photocomposition. Un système de photocomposition destiné à fournir une copie tramée d'une image en demi-teintes portée par une diapositive 16 analyse cette image en prélevant quatre échantillons pour chaque cellule de la copie tramée. Lorsque la comparaison des quatre échantillons d'une cellule fait apparaître des différences de densité importantes, on choisit pour la cellule correspondante de la copie une figure qui est différente d'un simple point centré, et qui traduit au mieux la configuration de la cellule d'origine. Application à l'imprimerie.
