Abstract

An appts. for measuring out quantities of liquids and mixing them comprises the juxtaposition of vessels contg. the liquids and a mixer which includes a homogeniser. Passage from one receiver to another is brought about by simple pressure on the flexible walls, by pumps or by gravity. The measuring out can be done by readings on graduations or by the number of strokes of a pump. Homogenisation can be effected by a syringe which draws up the liq., then delivers it with pressure into the body of the mixer. Arrangement resolves problems associated with obtaining rapidly a mixt. a homogeneous as possible of different liquids in relatively small quantities e.g. in making a salad dressing.
