Abstract

A device for measuring drinks from a bottle includes a syringe (1) of the classical style having a cylindrical body (7) and a piston type plunger (4). The syringe is accompanies by a length of flexible tubing (8) which forms a friction fit on the output nozle (5) of the syringe. The body wall (7) is provided with a measure scale (6) and as the wall is transparent, this may be employed to provide visual indication to the operator of the volumetric content of the device prior to discharge in a drinking receptacle. The scale (6) is also provided with scale markings for the identification of various standard beverage measures.
