Abstract

PURPOSE:To readily perform the test on the spot instantly by using a small amount of liquid, by providing a cylinder having a liquid sucking-up part to the top of which a syringe needle type sucking-up needle is engaged, and a piston which defins a space whose volume can be varied. CONSTITUTION:The sucked-up liquid testing means 1 is provided with a cylinder 2. In the cylinder 2, a cylindrical main body 3 and the tapering cylindrical sucking- up part are coupled by a boundary shoulder 5. The syrenge type sucking-up needle6 is engaged with the sucking-up part 4. The piston 7 is engaged in the main body 3 of the cylinder 2 is slidable manner. The cylinder 2 and the piston 7 form the liquid tight space 9 whose volume can be varied in the cylinder 2. In testing the liquid, the sucking-up needle 6 inserted in the liquid under test, and the piston 7 is pulled back. Then, the liquid by a micrometer. An ultrasonic wave generated by an oscillating element 11 is received by a receiving element 12, and the ultrasonic property of the liquid under test can be measured.
