1505634 Isostatic powder compaction CARBOX AB 30 Dec 1976 54348/76 Heading B5A Powder in a flexible container 9 is closely surrounded by a deformable basket 8 either of flexible material or of interconnected pieces of rigid material, and the basket is surrounded by a flexible diaphragm 6; the assembly is located within a pressure vessel 1 with an inlet 4 for a pressure liquid 5 which acts on the diaphragm to pressurize a first liquid 7 contained within the diaphragm and hence the container G and the powder therein. The liquids 5 and 7 may be oil and water, respectively.
