Abstract
1460103 Central heating systems FLAMCO BV 15 May 1974 [16 May 1973] 21644/74 Heading F4U A closed circuit liquid central heating system has an expansion vessel 4 at the highest point of the system, the vessel being closed and having a volume which is variable to adapt to changes in volume in the liquid without exerting additional pressure on the liquid. As shown, the expansion vessel is constituted by a bladder of elastic material. Alternatively, the vessel may be a rigid container closed off by a flexible membrane.
