Abstract

A thin flexible pad comprising several sheets, one upon the other, and fixed to each other a their edges, forms a disposable bib for a baby. It has a nimpermebale back sheet of plastic material, and at leat one intermediate sheet of wadding covered by a porous front sheet of cellulose wadding. At the back it has a slit joining the hole for the child's neck, and two tabs form the attachment. One of thse may have an adhesive spot with a detachable protective cover, or the two tabs may have complementary adhesives so tht they only cling to each other. The bib gives adequate protection to the child's garments, and is relatively cheap to produce.
