Abstract

L'invention concerne les lasers à anneaux. Elle se rapporte à un laser à anneau ayant une cavité optique placée sur un trajet optique fermé, ce trajet comprenant un dispositif d'amplification de lumière placé dans la cavité optique afin que des ondes lumineuses polarisées de manière analogue puissent se propager en sens inverses le long du trajet optique. Un élément bipolaire présentant des pertes non réciproques empêche la propagation collinéaire des deux ondes lumineuses, soit par séparation dans l'espace, soit par séparation dans le temps. Application aux lasers à anneau des gyroscopes.
